Mrs. Mathilda M. Wagner, 74, 517 S. Central, died Sunday at her home after an extended illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Giles funeral home with Rev. John Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Mrs. Wagner was born Nov. 9, 1885, in Des Moines county the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, and was married June 19, 1908, to Charles Wagner in Burlington. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband; a son, Charles Miller Wagner, and a sister, Mrs. John Mewes both of Burlington; a brother, Herman Miller, West Burlington; several grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
