Obituary
Arthur D. Wagner, 81, 1952 Bertsch, died at 6:15 p.m. Monday in Mercy hospital after a brief illness. Wagner was born Jan. 9, 1878, in Burlington, the son of Jacob and Amelia Vogt Wagner, and was married to Anna Burgus who is dead. He had retired in 1946 after working at Klein Manufacturing Co. for many years. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and the Moose lodge. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Hugh Agnew, Burlington; a brother, Edward Wagner, Burlington; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Edna Burgus, who made her home with them. Several sisters and brothers are dead. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Prugh's chapel with Rev. John Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
