Mrs. Rosetta Wagner, 80, widow of the late Charles M. Wagner, died at her home 517 S. Central avenue at 5:16 p.m. on Sunday. She had been in poor health for several years, but seriously ill only for the past three weeks. Mrs. Wagner was a native of Burlington and was well known in a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She was know as "Grandmother Wagner" to most of her neighbors, and there are many who will sincerely mourn her passing. She was born in Burlington, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Gaeoel) Hilttz, on June 15, 1858 and spent her life in this city. She was a member of Zion Evangelical church. Surviving are two children, Charles L. Wagner, and Carrie Wagner; both of Burlington; one grandson, Charles Wagner Jr., four sisters, Mrs.William Hagemeier, Mrs. Gus Bischoff, Miss Julia Hiltz and Mrs. Frank Ober, all of Burlington. Two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the residence, 517 S. Central avenue, at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rev. Mr. Koelling will officiate. Burial will be n Aspen Grove cemetery. The body was removed to the residence from Prugh's chapel at 3:30 this afternoon.
