Glen DeVere Wagner, 81, of 1312 Hillary, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, at Burlington's Memorial Hospital. Mr. Wagner was born Dec. 10, 1890, in Clarinda, the son of Wilmer and Georgia Yarger Wagner and married Marie Eisenhart July 15, 1914, in Burlington. He was a piano tuner and professional musician 58 years, a charter member of the Musicians Union and the American Legion in Burlington, a past dean of the First Congregational church and a member of the Elks and Kiwanis clubs. Surviving: The wife, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Murphy; Burlington; one brother, R. Bly Wagner, Fordyce, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Eiisenhart, Hollister, Mo.; three grandsons, Richard, David and Thomas, Burlington; one great-granddaughter, Ann Marie, Burlington, four nieces and one nephew. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Olin Lewis; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
