Mattie Wagg, native of Burlington, died Friday morning at Mt. Pleasant. Born July 27, 1861, she was educated in the Burlington schools. She never married. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sarah Blatt, Des Moines, and two nieces, Rose Blatt, Des Moines, and Mrs. Helen Killough of Mediapolis, as well as more distant relatives in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Burnett-Wallen funeral home. Rev. Carl Victor Brown, of the Presbyterian church, of which she was a member will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
