Mrs. Agnes Nettie Wadsworth, 81, Gladstone, Ill., died at Mercy hospital Saturday at 5;15 a.m. She had been in failing health since last summer. She was born Sept. 30, 1874, at Sinks Grove, W.Va., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McCarty. In 1890 she married Arthur Caldwell in Burlington. He died in 1916. June 21, 1920, she married Arthur Wadsworth in Burlington. He died in 1948. She was a member of the Degree of Honor. Surviving are a son, Terence Caldwell, Gladstone, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Cohen, Muscatine; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Esteling St. Clair; Kahoka, Mo.; a brother, Guy McCarty, Hurdland, Mo.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, five brothers and four sisters are dead. Services will be held in Prugh's chapel Tuesday at 2 p.m. Dr. George Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
