Obituary
Arthur L. Wadsworth, 75, who lived 5 miles east of Burlington on highway 34, died at his home Thursday at 5 a.m. after an extended illness. He was born Aug. 29, 1873, and on Jan. 16, 1923, married Mrs. Agnes Caldwell in Burlington. Surviving are the widow; a stepson, Terence Caldwell of Gladstone, ill.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Hazel Cohen of Muscatine; 2 daughters, Mrs. Margaret Peterson, Mt. Dora, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Champion of Dubuque; a son, Arthur Wadsworth of Burlington; 2 sisters Mrs. John Griffin of Quincy, Ill. and Mrs. Mary Brown of Charleston, Mo. For the past 8 years he had made his home with his stepson, Terene Caldwall. The body was taken to Prugh's chapel. Services will be announced later. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
