Found dead in her home by her daughter at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mrs. Marie Wachutka, 69, a native of Austri and a resident of Burlington since 1905, is thought to have died about 11 a.m. of a heart attack, according to Coroner R. O. Giles. She was born March 12, 1873, and married Frank Wachatka, the family home being at 1703 Grube street. Survivors include two daughters, Marie Wachutka, of Burlington. and Mrs. C. Pfeiffer, Chicago; three sons, Arthur Wachutka, a member of the Burlington police department; Frank, Chicago, and Adolph, stationed at Lambert field, St. Louis. There is also one grandson, Arthur of Burlington. Funeral services will be held from St. John's Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock Saturday, preceded by a short service at the home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. The body will be taken from the Giles funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday to the residence, where recitation of the rosary is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. Mrs. Wachutka was a member of St. John's church.
