Obituary

Frank Wachutka, 65 years of age, of 1703 Grube street, died at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, February 4, at St. Francis hospital following an illness of five weeks. Mr. Wachutka was born in Austria September 21, 1868. He came to Burlington from that country in 1905 and has made his home here since that time, For over 20 years he was employed at the Murray Iron Works, a steady, industrious worker and popular with his fellows. Surviving Mr. Wachutka, are his widow, three sons Adolph, Arthur of Burlington and Frank of Chicago, a step-son, Joe Leiter of Burlington; two daughters, Marie at home and Mrs. C.C. Pfeiffer of Chicago; grandson, Arthur Wachutka, Jr.;a twin sister, Mrs. William Schupick, of Burlington, a brother, Max of Chicago, and one brother and two sisters, living in Austria. Mr. Wachutka was a member of St. John's Catholic church and funeral services will be held there Wednesday morning at nine o'clock with interment in Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will be taken home from Prugh's chapel tomorrow morning.
