Heinrich Beneke was born in Germany, 1833. He and his wife Christina came to America in 1870. Christina died between 1885 and 1900. At the time of the 1900 federal census Heinrich was a widower who was boarding with another family. Their children: Frederika, Henry, Jr, and Sophia.
