Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Baum, 1103 N. Eighth, died at Park Manor nursing home at 1:50 pm Wednesday, July 12.
Death came eight days after her eighty-fifth birthday and one day after the death of her 92-year-old sister, Mrs. Gertrude P. Abbey.
She was a native of Burlington and was born on Independence day, 1887, the daughter of Millard and Emma Schramm Reid. She was married to the late MJ Baum.
There are no immediate survivors.
A graveside service will be conducted in Aspen Grove Cemetery by the Rev. John Ziegler at 10 am Saturday at Prugh’s Chapel.
