Milton Francis Youngman, 46, Rt. 2, was found dead in the basement of his home eight miles north of Burlington on Thursday afternoon. Dr. W.C. Zabloudil, deputy medical examiner, was called to the scene. Sheriff's officers said Mr. Youngman had hanged himself. Mr. Youngman, a life resident of this area, was born Nov. 1, 1919, in West Burlington, the son of Arthur and Esther Larson Youngman. Sept. 23, 1942, he married Katheryn Walker in Des Moines County. Mr. Youngman, a farmer, was a member of Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving: The wife; a son. Milton, in the US Air Force; a daughter, Colleen Kay, at home, a brother, Luther W. Youngman, of Burlington. Services: Monday, 2 p.m. Bethany Lutheran church; Rev. G.A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove. The body is at Prughs.
