Mrs. Blanche E. Young, 98, Burlington Care Center, formerly of 1800 Des Moines, died in Burlington Medical Center at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25. She was born June 26, 1885, in Lee County, to Charles and Fannie Brockway Hinson. She married Thomas G. Young June 16, 1908, in Burlington; he died in 1956. A nephew and several nieces survive. Committal: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, the Rev. Harold E. Werley. The body is at Prugh's Chapel.
