Obituary
Charles Young, 69, semi-transient who lived in the Willow Patch, dropped dead of a heart attack in the rear driveway of Mercy hospital at about 6;15 last night, 10 minutes after receiving a "hand-out" supper there. Young, who frequently obtained meals at the rear door of the hospital, was with another man, eating, when stricken. The other man, seeing Young slump to the ground, called hospital officials who in turn notified police. Coroner Robert O. Giles pronounced death today as due to the heart attack. No relatives have been located. Young is said to have "been in an out of Burlington" for more than 10 years and was listed on county relief rolls. Funeral services will be held at Giles chapel at 10:30 Saturday morning, conducted by the Rev. W. B. Slater, pastor of First Christian Church.
Rites were held at Giles chapel this afternoon for Charles Young, 69, Willow Patch, who died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday night.
