Funeral services for Michael young, 66, of 1402 South Tenth street, life resident of Burlington, who died at Mercy hospital yesterday will be held at St. John's Catholic church at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, preceded by short services at the Unterkircher funeral home at 8:30. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Mr. Young was born in this city, Jan. 10, 1867. He was employed as a street car conductor on the South Hill line a number of years ago and later was employed by the Burlington railroad, serving two years as a flagman on the Main street crossing. He was hurt by a switch engine and was made lame by the injury. A brother, Tom young, was a member of the Burlington fire department and was killed in a fire at the Chittenden and Eastman warehous, April 19, 1923. A sister lives at Davenport. Mr. Young was married to Katie Duke, who survives him.
