Charles Yoke, 54, a resident of Davenport, died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Mercy Hospital. He had been ill since coming here about four weeks ago. Mr. Yoke was born in Iowa and had lived in Davenport a number of years. he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Erma Yoke; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Strandberg of Burlington, and Mrs. Ted Jasper and Mrs. Clyde Butler, both of Davenport; two brothers, William Yoke and Elmer Yoke of Newton, Kans.; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie McMillian of Idaho, Mrs. W. E. McCloskey of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Vina Anthony of Cleo, Okla. and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at Prugh's chapel. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
