Obituary

The funeral of Frank E. Yaley, who died at his home, No. 521 Maple street, yesterday morning at 2;55 o'clock of apoplexy, will be held at the family home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o;clock. Friends are invited to the services. The interment in Aspen Grove cemetery will be private. Mr. Yaley was born in Burlington May 18, 1873, a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Yaley, who now live at Stronghurst, Ill. When a boy he moved to Thayer, Kansas with his parents, and resided there until he was about eighteen years old. He was educated in the schools at that place. Later he returned to Burlington and attended business college here. His marriage to Laura B. Summers occurred at Galesburg, ill., in 1899. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Yaley lived at Stronghurst five years and then came to Burlington. Mr. Yaley was a commercial traveler for an implement firm of Peoria for some time, but had been engaged in the real estate business the last year. He possessed a host of friends here and his untimely death has been noted with sincere regret by all of them. Besides his parents and wife he is survived by one brother. A.C. Yaley of Stronghurst and one sister, Mrs. Ida Mellinger, of Boise City, Idaho.
