Webster M. Yakle, 81, of 253 S. Central, died Thursday, Aug. 31, in St. Francis Continuation Care Center. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Yakle, he was born Nov. 22, 1896, in Mt. Pleasant. A retired farmer, he was a veteran of World War I and member of the Baptist church. Surviving: A brother, Fred, Burlington, and a sister, Carrie Nelson, Yuciape, Calif. Committal service: 2 p.m. Friday, Aspen Grove cemetery, Rev. B. Lawrence Sweeney. The body is at Sheagren funeral home.
