Mrs. Vera Florence Dannies, 824 Starr avenue, died at Mercy hospital at 5 a.m. today after an illness of five days. She was born May 8, 1908 in West Burlington and was the former Miss Florence Yager. She was married July 3, 1926 to Edward F. Dannies of this city. She was a member of Zion Evangelical church. Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Dorothy 8, Delores 6, Patricia 3 and Wanda 2; two brothers, Clarence Yager, Galesburg, Ill., and Virgil Yager, Burlington, and her grandfather, John Yager, Burlington. The funeral will be held at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. A.F. Koelling, pastor of Zion church, will conduct the service. Interment will be in Aspen Grove cemtery.
