John David Yager, a resident of Burlington since 1854, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock at his residence, 1306 North Eighth street. Mr. Yager was a contracting brick mason. He was born in Ohio, November 2, 1836 and came to Burlington in 1854. His wife died in 1874. Mr. Yager was known as a lover of fishing and hunting. Deceased is survived by two daughters, Miss Katherine Yager and Mrs. Emma Kehn, of Burlington. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence. Rev. W.H. Spence will officiate. Friends are invited.
