Obituary
The body of Robert Zindle whose death occurred at Redlands, Cal., Saturday as noted in Sunday's Gate City, briefly arrived in Burlington this morning at 7:15 o'clock. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from Burlington and the Claypoole lodge of Masons of Fort Madison will be in charge. Robert Zindle was born and raised in Keokuk, and received his high school education here. Graduating from this institution he took up the occupation of collar maker, which he followed both here and in Burlington, His failing health forced him to give up this work and he entered the employ of the Bell Telephone company. He worked with the telephone company in Fort Madison and later in New Mexico, and later went to Redlands. He was engaged in work up until about nine months of the time of his death.
