Catherine Zimmer, the wife of John Zimmer, passed away last evening at Mercy hospital. She was 54 years of age, being born in Germany January 29, 1851. She had been a resident of Burlington for years, her husband being the gardner for C.E. Perkins for 27 years. The funeral announcement will be made later. Besides her husband, one brother, survives her.
