Mrs. Mary Ann Ziegler, 84, of 923 N. 3rd died in Burlington hospital Wednesday morning, following an extended illness. She was born in Henderson county, Ill., Dec. 22, 1870, the daughter of Jacob and Susan Heisler Fisher. On Thanksgiving Day of 1891 she was married to David R. Ziegler in Henderson county.; Ziegler, an official of the Drake Hardware Co., died Oct. 2, 1924. One daughter and two brothers also preceded Mrs. Ziegler in death. She was a member of the First Methodist church, the Blackmar chapter, Eastern Star, Sheldon Circle of King's Daughters, and the American Legion Auxiliary. The survivors include a son, Ralph F. Ziegler of Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Earl of Chicago; and a half-brother, Edward Fisher of Twin Falls, Idaho. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Dr. Deane Chapman will officiate and burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
