Mrs. Elizabeth Ross Zerneke died at 3;15 p.m. Friday after an extended illness. She was a native of Germany, born July 8, 1867 and came to this country and to Burlington 58 years ago. She was a member of the First evangelical chruch. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Emma Zerneke, Mrs. Ruth Balzer and Mrs. Florence Rinker of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. William Miller of Davenport, and eight grandchildren. A son, daughter and brother, Henry Ross, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Prugh's chapel. Rev. J.H. Buescher will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
