Obituary

William Zeller, an old and well known and respected citizen of this county, died yesterday morning at his home, five miles south of town. The cause of death was dropsy, from which the old man had been suffering for some time. He would have been seventy-nine years of age next April, and was a native of Hesse-Nassau, Germany. He came to Burlington in 1820, and he worked hard and prospered. The evening of his life was spent in peace and comfort at his home overlooking the Father of Waters. He is survived by ten children, the good mother having passed away some ten years ago. The children are: Henry Zeller, of North Yakima, Wash.; Chris., August, Edward, Mrs. Chris Biklen, Mrs. Henry Meyer and Mrs. ed. Hoh, of this city; Mrs. Fred Meyer, of Chicago, and the Misses Carline and Tillie Zeller, at home. The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.
