Michael Zeller passed away at an early hour Tuesday morning at his home on Orchard street, Prospect hill. He had enjoyed fair health to the end. On Monday he was about as usual, but complained of grip and general discomfort. Pneumonia set in during the night, and the heart was affected, and his condition was soon beyond all earthly help. Michael Zeller was born in Bavaria May 8, 1848, and came to Burlington with his parents in 1852. He attended the local schools and then entered the Burlington railroad service, where he was a faithful worker until about twenty years ago, when he established the grocery on Main street and Harrison avenue. By square dealing and courtesy he won the firm friendship of very many of the patrons of his store and increased the patronage from season to season. He is survived by the widow and the following children: Julian, George, Frank and Robert Zeller. The time of the funeral will be announced later.
