George H. Oldham, 54, 2820 Fair Acres, died suddenly at his home on Friday evening. Born at Eddyville on March 23, 1899, he was married at Fairfield to Ota Mae McPeck on Oct.16, 1918. A representative of the Monarch Insurance company, he was a veteran of World War I, a member of Grace Methodist church, and a member of the Masonic church, and a member of the Masonic Temple and Knights Templar. Surviving are his widow; a son, Paul, Douds; a brother. Leslie Grinnell; a sister, Jeanette, Cedar Rapids and a grandson. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Giles funeral home with Rev. James Buikenna officiating. Burial with Masonic rites was held in Aspen Grove cemetery.
