George J. Zaiser, Sr., 71, 232 Curran, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Burlington hospital. He had been hospitalized for six days. He was born in Burlington, Sept. 25, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Zaiser. He was married in Burlington Sept. 22, 1915, to Nettie Fladt. Survivors include his wife; two sons. Mark and George; both of Burlington; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Diehl, Agnes Zaiser, and Mrs. Helen Champagne, all of Burlington and Mrs. Bertha Westerbeck, New London; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, a brother and a daughter died previously. He was a member of the International Assn. of Machinists and the Messiah Lutheran church. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Wallen-Nelson chapel. The Rev. John L. Kindshuh will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
