Mrs. Vida W. Zaiser, 88, of 1400 N. Central, died Wednesday, April 2, at the Burlington Care Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1895, in Burlington, to Peter and Louise Muenzenmeyer Brodersen. She married Ralph Zaiser on Nov. 5, 1919, in Burlington; he died March 30, 1984. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, E.C. Blackmar Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and was past president of the Iowa Postal Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and was an organist at her church. Surviving are two sons, Mark R., Burlington, and Paul C., Cedar Falls; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Zaiser will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Robert Buhr officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial for Bethany Lutheran Chruch has been established.
