Obituary
Many friends will attend the funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Bloomberg, which will be held from the family home, No. 1440 Cleveland Avenue with services at the Messiah Lutheran Church at 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Bloomberg is survived by the husband, Mr. August L. Bloomberg, and four sons: Paul of this city; Arthur of Independence, Kansas; Joseph, and Reuben of Milwaukee; three daughters; Mrs. Natalie Miller of Davenport; Mrs. Hilma Blomquist of Detroit, and Miss Esther Bloomberg, here. She is also mourned by her aged father, Mr. Gus. Gustison, of this city, and the following brothers and sisters; Charles Gustison, of Ottumwa; Frank Gustison, of Chicago; Ernst Gustison, of this city; Mrs. Tillie Butler, of Mediapolis; Mrs. Hilma Denward, of Burlington. A wide circle of friends and acquaintances will hold this estimable woman in kindly remembrance.
The remains of Mrs. Gertrude Bloomberg were laid away in Aspen Grove Sunday afternoon, following services in the Swedish Messiah Lutheran church, which were attended by a large number of relatives and friends.
