Mrs. Dena Bloomberg, 84, 1409 S. Leebrick, died at 4:35 am Wednesday in Burlington hospital. She had been in failing health for a year.
Services will be held at 2 pm Friday in Prugh’s chapel, Rev. John L. Kindschuh officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bloomberg was born Dec. 25, 1875, in Burlington the daughter of Otto and Clara Carlson Strand, and was married Oct. 22, 1902, in Burlington to Otto A. Bloomberg.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran church and the church’s Ladies Aid.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Carroll Carter, West Burlington; a son, Harold of Silvis, Ill.; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Charles Brust, Flossmore, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Her parents and two sisters are dead.
