Clarence W. "Skeeter" Dahlin, 78, of 2320 Dehn St., died Tuesday, June 12, 1990. Born May 27, 1912, in Burlington, he was the son of Andrew and Mary Peterson Dahlin. He married Violet Schnicker May 3, 1939, in Burlington. She died Dec. 17, 1966. He married Catherine Hunter in October 1968. He later married Mabel Holstein Aug. 27, 1972, in Burlington. She died Jan. 30, 1988. Mr. Dahlin was a lifelong Burlington resident. He was a mechanic at Delzell Motors, formally Sheagren Hunt Motors, for 30 years. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jane (David) Stallsworth, DuPont, Colo.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Phillip Dahlin, Park Rapids, Minn. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel. The funeral for Mr. Dahlin will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Hoornstra officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Messiah Lutheran Church.
