Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Bloom, 79, 1142 Ash, was dead on arrival at Memorial hospital at 6:05 pm Wednesday, Jan. 2, the victim of a heart attack.
She was born June 10, 1894, in Burlington. She married William Leo Bloom in Burlington Oct. 1, 1919: he died Feb. 3, 1967. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Women’s Friendly Club, and Senior Saints of Bethany Lutheran.
Surviving; One son, William Jr., Denver, Colo.; two grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Laura Ryden, Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 1:30 pm Saturday, Bethany Lutheran church, Rev. Walter Lack; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
