John Edward Bloom, 1017 N. Eighth street, died suddenly in his residence at 12:15 pm today.
He was born in Burlington on Sept. 6, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bloom, and was a lifelong resident. On Aug. 6, 1938, he was united in marriage with Mrs. Philamine Chiaramonte.
Surviving are his widow; one brother, William, of the state of Washington; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Beckman of Sperry.
For many years Bloom was connected with Builders Woodwork company. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
The body was removed to Prugh’s chapel, pending arrangements.
Funeral services for Mr. John Edward Bloom, who passed away May 26, 1942, at 12:15 pm will be held in Prugh’s chapel, Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Dr. RR Belter will officiate. Friends are invited. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
