Mac Alden Curtiss, 56, a life resident of Burlington, died Wednesday in Burlington hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Curtiss, a postal transport clerk 16 years, lived at 1101 S. Starr. He was born Mar. 22, 1910, the son of John and Mary McChesney Curtiss, and was not married. Mr. Curtiss was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army in the Pacific. He was a member of the Postal Workers union and Faith United Presbyterian church. Surviving: A sister, Mrs. Constance Hilgert, Belleville, Ill.; and a nephew, John H, Hilgert, in the army.
