Obituary
Frank Bloom, 80, of 1816 S. Tenth Street, retired railroad shops employee, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Schults, Kalamazoo, Mich.
Death followed an extended illness. The Burlingtonian had been at his daughter’s home since last July.
A resident of Burlington for 55 years, he was a native of Sweden. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church.
Mrs. Bloom died last Jan. 25.
Surviving besides the daughter in Michigan are 2 other daughters, Mrs. Charles Stohler and Frances of Burlington, and 2 sons, Arthur and Robert of this city; 2 brothers, William of Burlington and another in Sweden; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Services will be arranged later. The body will be brought to Burlington.
Rites for Mr. Bloom will be held at the Giles Funeral home at 2 pm Friday, conducted by Rev. AD Freden. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
