Mrs. Enga Maria Bloom passed away at Burlington hospital Sunday morning. She was born in Sweden, July 6, 1849, and came to Burlington in 1884, removing to West Burlington soon thereafter. The family lived at No.313 Ramsey Street. The deceased is survived by the husband, C. Alfred Bloom, a faithful employee of the big shops, and the following children; Claus of Burlington, Swan of Havelock, Neb.; Axel of Ottumwa; Carl of West Burlington and Mrs. Hilda Martin of Burlington. She was a faithful member of the Lutheran church and the funeral will take place tomorrow (Wednesday), leaving the home at 318 Ramsey Street, at 1:30 and services to be held at the Swedish Lutheran church, West Burlington, with burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
