Mrs. Edna Elvera Bloom, 59, wife of C. Wallin Bloom, 1428 Washington street, died at 2:20 pm Wednesday in Burlington hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Burlington, Sept. 25, 1884, and was united in marriage with Bloom Sept 23, 1902. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of that church.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. RA Dorner, of Iowa City; a son, Capt. AC Bloom, US Army; her mother, Mrs. Ida Benham, of West Burlington, and 2 grandchildren.
The body was removed to Prugh’s chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Elvbera Bloom will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church. The cortege will leave Prugh’s chapel at 3:15. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
