Obituary
John E. Blomquist, 54, died yesterday at his home on Sweeney Avenue, following a prolonged illness. He came to his country from Sweden when he was 12 years old.
He is survived by his widow, his mother, two brothers, Carl Blomquist of Burlington, and Ted Blomquist of Chicago, and Mrs. Blanche Barnhart of Peoria, and Mrs. Chas. Gustason of Burlington, besides other relatives, all of whom mourn his passing. He was a member of Eagles, Elks, and Turners society.
The funeral services for John E. Blomquist will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the home, No. 710 Sweeny Avenue. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.
