Mrs. Maude H. Blomberg, 85, or 413 Ramsey, died at 12:10 am Tuesday, June 26, in St. Francis Continuation Care Center.
She was born Nov. 20, 1887, in West Burlington, the daughter of Johan and Anna Katrina Bloom. Nov. 25, 1908, in West Burlington, she married Fingel Blomberg. He died in 1935. Mrs. Blomberg, a member of Messiah Lutheran church, has been a seamstress at Schramm’s.
Surviving: Two daughters, Mrs. Richard P. Johnson, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Leo E. Walker, Burlington, three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Maude H. Blomberg, who passed away June 26, 1973, will be held in Prugh’s Chapel Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. Rev. Mr. Clyde Norrgard will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Wednesday evening from 7:30 until 9:00. A memorial Fund for Mrs. Blomberg has been established at the Church.
