Mrs. Mary N. Dankwardt, 79, of 1801 Roosevelt, died in St. Francis hospital Sunday at 10:15 p.m. She was born in Cantril, Ia., 70 years ago, the daughter of John and Anna McInerny. She married Herman S. Dankwardt Feb. 19, 1901, in Burlington. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, West Burlington and St. Ann's Society. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Estella; and a son, Ralph, both of Burlington. A brother is dead. Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic church, West Burlington Wednesday at 9 a.m., preceded by family prayers at Wallen's chapel at 8:30. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. The rosary will be recited by St. Ann's Society at the funeral home Tuesday at 8 p.m.
