Adolph F. Dankwardt, 68, native of Burlington, died at his home, 420 Spruce street, Sunday at 6 p.m. He was born here June 19, 1877. On May 19, 1925, at Hannibal, Mo., he was married to Edith Hartman, who survives. he was a salesman by profession. Also surviving are 6 stepchildren; Mrs. Mildred Aldinger, Alaneda, Calif.; Mrs Dorothy Manville, Mrs. Albert Vaughn, and Mrs. Lester Brower, Burlington; Charles and Robert Hartman, Burlington' 5 sisters, Mrs. Emma Herrill, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Charles Binder, Mrs. Martha Smith, Mrs. Lucinda Reid, and Mrs. Flora Kuechen, Burlington; 12 grandchildren, and 2 greatgrandchildren. Two brothers are dead. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Burnett-Wallen Funeral home with Rev. W.W. Steinmetz, officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
