Nancy L. Dolan, 56, of Burlington, died at 6:05 A.M. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at her home.
Born December 22, 1959, in Ottumwa, IA, she was the daughter of Donald James and Elizabeth Emma Hoffman Dolan. On March 17, 1989, she married Brent F. Parcel in Ottumwa, IA.
Nancy worked as a waitress at Napoli's for 20 years.
She was a 1978 graduate of Ottumwa High School.
She enjoyed playing darts, bowling, music, crocheting, and shopping for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed joking with friends, boating, but most of all, spending time with family.
Survivors include her spouse, Brent F. Parcel of Burlington; two daughters, Christy Hofstetter and Marilyn Hofstetter both of Burlington, IA; one step-daughter, Brandi Parcel of Ottumwa, IA; one step-son, Bryan Parcel of Marion, IA; nine grandchildren, Alaceah, Conner, Zeke, Alexandrea, Zoeie, Jakson, Elayna, Natasha, Bishop and one due in February; two brothers, Mike (Mary) Dolan of Kahoka, MO, and Alan (Debbie) Dolan of Ottumwa, IA; one sister, Michelle (Danny) Millard of Ottumwa, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2016, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home & Crematory.
The funeral service for Nancy will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home & Crematory with Reverend Dean Graber officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the family.
