Mrs. Estella Bergere Leopold, 84, formerly of Burlington, died at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Vincent hospital, Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was a resident of Madison "Vis. Lunas, New Mexico, the daughter of Alfredo Maurice and Eloisa Luna Bergere. She married Aldo Leopold, who died April 21, 1948. Mrs. Leopold was a housewife and of the Catholic faith. Surviving: Five children, Starker and Luna, both of Berkeley, Calif.; Mrs. Charles (Nina) Bradley, Bozeman, Mont., Carl, Lafayette, Ind., and Estella Leopold, Denver, Colo.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren: three sisters, Anita Bergere, Mrs. Jack (May) Kenney and Mrs. Herbert (consuelo) Mendenhall, all of Santa Fe, N.M.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services are pending at St. Paul Catholic church; burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Prugh's Chapel will be in charge of arrangements. Friends are asked to omit flowers.
