Claud Koger, 82, of 2234 S. 12th St., Burlington, died at 4;11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1995, at Burlington Medical Center. Born May 7. 1912, in Huntland, Tenn., he was the son of Charlie Bill and Norma Huskey Koger. he married Edna Belle Lincoln on July 5, 1943, in Burlington. Mr. Koger was a welder at Klein Manufacturing for 33 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the First Christian Church and a past member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carol Magdefrau of Burlington and Norma Thye of Sperry; three sons, Larry and Clancy Koger, both of Fayetteville, Ark., and John Koger, at home; two sisters, Bea Koger of Burlington and Toby Martin of West Burlington; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and one sister. Friends may call after noon today in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Koger will be 2 p.m. Friday in Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
