John Henry Koger, 60, of Burlington, Iowa, died at 8:16 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2006, at his residence. Born August 30, 1946 in Burlington he was the son of Claud and Edna Belle Lincoln Koger. Mr. Koger was a Burlington High School graduate and worked as a laborer in construction. He was a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. He liked to hunt, fish and collect Burlington memorabilia. He loved his gardening and yard work, but his passion was his dog “Jake”. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Edna Belle Koger of Burlington; two sisters, Carol Magdefrau of Springdale, Arkansas and Norma Thye of Mediapolis, Iowa; and two brothers, Larry Koger and Clancy Koger both of Fayetteville, Arkansas. His father, Claud Koger; one brother, Charles Koger; grandparents, aunts and uncles preceded him in death.
