Mayme G. Scheider, 89, a former Burlington resident, died Thursday, Nov. 5, in Beverly Manor Hospital, Monrovia, Calif., following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 26, 1881, in Iowa, the daughter of John and Louise Karger Knoll. She married William Boltz, and after his death married Fred Schneider.
Mrs. Schneider was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Royal Neighbors and Eagles auxiliary.
Surviving: two sons, Everett Boltz, San Deigo, Calif., Edward Boltz, Monrovia, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Gerk, Decatur, Ill.
Funeral: Commital service 2 pm Tuesday, Rev. GA Saathoff; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
