A former Burlington resident, Louis W. Blekfeld, 75, died Tuesday at the home of a sister in Warsaw, Ind.
Blekfeld was born in Denmark and operated a laundry in Burlington where he lived for a number of years. He was married to Kristine Jensen Blekfeld who preceded him in death in 1944.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer and Wesley, both of Falls Church, Va.; one brother, Neils of California; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Knauss of Chicago Heights, and Mrs. Louis Wolfe with whom he lived at Warsaw at the time of his death.
The body will be brought to Burlington Saturday at 2:55 pm Wallen’s Funeral Home will take the body to Aspen Grove Cemetery where final rites will be conducted by the Rev. Russell Johnson.
