Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha P. Blaul, widow of the late Louis Blaul, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Betty, in Evanston, Ill., will be held at 2 pm Friday in Burnett-Wallen funeral home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, and graveside rites will be private.
Pallbearers will be Oscar Biklen and Louis Blaul of Burlington; John Gray, Evanston, Ill; Louis B and Harry Barnes of St. Paul, Minn., and James Mathewson, Madison, Wis.
Mrs. Blaul was born in Lawrence, Kansas., June 7, 1876. She married Louis Blaul there in 1895. He died in 1925. The family home here was on Madison Avenue. Mrs. Blaul moved to Evanston about 5 years ago.
Surviving are 2 sons, John of Yarmouth, and James of Minneapolis, Minn.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Sophia Mathewson of Madison, Mrs. Laura Gra of Evanston, Mrs. Bertha Barnes of St. Paul, and Betty Blaul of Evanston; and 3 sisters. The body was brought to Burnett-Wallen funeral home this afternoon.
