Obituary
George Blank, 84, of 1328 N. Sixth, died Sunday at 6 pm after an illness of 2 years.
He was born in Burlington Nov. 12, 1866, and was a life resident. A Murray Ironworks foundry worker, he retired about 10 years ago. He married Emma Schmitt in Burlington in 1908. She died Aug. 8, 1951. He attended First Evangelical & Reformed church and was a charter member of Moose lodge.
A brother, Andrew, of Long Beach, Calif., survives.
Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 pm at Burnett Wallen funeral home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
